Why every rider love to ride around Italy with us
I'm Alessia, daughter in art with three generetions of riders and I founded the Association Cavalieri di Gaia in the 2011 with volounteers that help to take care about the horses.
We rented five ectars in the natural reserve in Ostia, near the beach of Rome and into the archaeological park of Ostia Antica , the anciant Harbour of the Roman Empire built in the 500 a.c.
Here we rescue 10 horses: they had agonistic curruculum as jumpers, cattle horse, racers,.. and ages from 6 to 24 years old. Now the live in the Horse Sanctuary and we cooperat as a big heard of humans, horses and cats!

Where we are & how you can reach the Ranch in Rome
Our Ranch is only 15 minutes from the International Airport of Fumincino.
It's easy reach it from the city center of Rome by public transportation: you take the underground, B line, at Piramide train station you switch with the Freccia del Mare - Ostia Lido train and you stop at Ostia Antica station. The meeting point is 5 minutes walking in front of the Castle of Giulio || .
It's possible arrange shuttle service with driver from and to your hotel with additional extra cost. Write me for more info.
The Western's Ranch in Abruzzo & how to ge there

During the summer, we usually move the heard to my father's Ranch in Abruzzo, in the Simbruini national park . It's almost one hour driving from Rome and easy to reach by train, it's the place where you can live like a local and the perfect escape from the coatic city.
Discover the captivating region of Abruzzo, where you can experience the majestic mountains while riding along intriguing and tranquil trails, surrounded by nature and stunning views. Explore Simbruini National Park on horseback, where you may encounter horses, cows, and a variety of wildlife, including wolves deer, and eagles. Our excursions has the base at Ranch Valle Verde in Tagliacozzo, offering daily to various locations, including medieval villages, wild sceneries, ancient palaces and picturesque churches on the rock.
That's the land of the italian cowboy tradition with savourish gastronomic specialities with local great wines, grilled meat, fresh vegetbles, tasty cheese and truffles.
